A Five Pound note issued by Brixton in support of the local economy. In crisp uncirculated condition, with the serial number 003348.
Designed by Jeremy Deller as a uniface note to represent a work of art. Deller is the British artist who won the Turner Prize in 2004.
Whether or not these local initiatives continue, these are nice pieces of social history.
