The last ever White £5 note issued by the bank of England was the O’Brien D99A prefix, dated 20th September. These notes rarely come on the market and the last one I recall seeing went for over £3000.
Accordingly, the D98A prefix is pretty special, dated just one day before and as close as you will find to the last run prefix. This example is in about Fine condition, with clear vertical and horizontal folds, plus numerous creases and dirt marks, especially to the folds. There are also some tiny splits along the central horizontal fold.
One for the keen collector!
